The main action tonight takes place at Hove, where there are two £500 finals taking place.

Up first at 8.21 is the final Nevill Dual Distance Final over 515 metres.  The heats were run over the shorter 490 metre trip last week.

Winter Derby finalist Droopys Nirvana could be the one to beat after setting the standard last week with 28.52sec (-20).

Seamus Cahill’s son of Romeo Recruit is in good form having won three of his last four races and he has been successful several time over this longer trip.

Cahill also fields Ravens Burger, who will relish the extra 25 metres.  The son of Crash looked a little unlucky after finding early trouble only to fail by three quarters of a length to catch his kennelmate.  He generally has to do it the hard way.

The other big runner is Nowhere Fast.  Matt Dartnall’s runner has won nine of his last ten races and has a cracking draw on the fence to make an impact.

The other decider is the Nevill Maiden Sprint Final over 285 metres.  Preference is given to Ballycleary Boy, who was unluckily beaten narrowly by fastest heat winner Simply Flawless.

Seamus Cahill’s son of Droopys Roddick has a great draw in trap one to work from.
