Hee Haws Sheriff (Tyrur Big Mike-Caoimhe, Oct 13) smashed the week old Cork 330 yard track record with a 17.24 victory in the second round of the Greyhound & Petworld Supersprint.
Ian Reilly’s black found 19 spots on his previous best and went nine spots quicker than Quietly’s course record when beating that rival by a comfortable four and a half lengths.
The other qualifiers went to Ballymac Sexton (17.46), Toolmaker Scot (17.60) and Ballymac Bigmike (17.56) when taking his winning tally to 11/12.
