A new look GBGB Calendar will drop through subscribers’ letterboxes on Saturday. The new compact Calendar is smaller in size (from A4 to B5 format) but it will still contain all the important regulatory information together with details of forthcoming Open races. The Calendar is also now available on publication day on the GBGB website.
GBGB Chief Executive Barry Faulkner explained the reasons for the redesign; “The Calendar has been published in various guises since 1926 and the current format has been used since 2009, when the GBGB was established. It was thought that a redesign was due and the smaller format has a much more modern feel to it while delivering all the features of its predecessor and at a lower cost.” Faulkner added, “I would imagine that many subscribers may now opt to view the publication online only. However, we recognise that not everyone has access to the internet but subscribers who no longer wish to receive a hard copy should contact the GBGB on [email protected]”
