Rubys Razzle (Razldazl George-Swift Eva, Jul 14) landed her second category one event of the year when taking the Gold Cup at Harlow.
Unbeaten going into the final,Mark Wallis’ blue jacketed 5-4f was out-trapped by Astute Missile but had the inside run and led off the second bend. Missile remained a danger throughout the first circuit and made his challenge at the fifth bend where he was forced to check. It cost him the race as Razzle plugged away in front.
As they approached the 592m winning line, Cooladerry Lid put in a flying finish to take second place just three quarters of a length behind the 37.69 (-50) winner.
