Charlie Lister’s annual plunder of Yarmouth riches took place a little earlier this year when Old Joe Golden (Premier Fantasy-Final Gold, Jun 13) landed the £1,200 Fosters East Anglian Challenge.
The 9-4 chance who was injured during last year’s event was led up by Rappers Delight but it it up at the third bend and pulled away for a near two length win in 27.86. Favourite Badabing (T1 7-4f) ran into first bend trouble and finished last.
