No challenge yesterday which means – unfortunately – we have to look back to Saturday and Sheffield!
Imagine the proud mother. Telling the ladies from the church coffee morning about her incredible gifted son, the ‘straight A’ scholar, destined for Cambridge, plays rugby for the county. . . only to be interrupted with a phone call from the police station. . . .Being charged with what!?! Drunkeness and lewd behaviour?’
The embarrassment!
Yes, of course, the Sheffield trio, a better investment than gilt bonds.
Doh! 3 x -£100
NOTTINGHAM
The last Nottingham selections before the break. Big Mark will finish off the month in profit – currently £112.50 before tonight’s effort. Terry Urquhart needs a £145 win to break level. They are joined for the first time by local owner Bill Frederick.

Mark Pierrepont:
Our Pit Pony (R3 T6) £50 win
Piemans Bill (R4 T6) £50 win
Both more than capable of coming thru the field from the back of their respective handicaps and getting there in plenty of time
YARMOUTH
Tonight and Wednesday (30th) before we conclude this series. BB Hughes is comfortably in front and will finish in the blue even without a winner over the last two meetings. The Cash Machine is a fiver in credit, while Sensible Dave is in the red. All hope is not yet lost.

Its always a bit tricky when the weather changes and the rain gets into the track. Your never sure how its going to run so I’m keeping my options open and going down the middle tonight.
Easten Icon (R6 T3) she should have no problem leading the inside pair up. Orange has the early to lead here but I’m hoping that Linda Brown’s bitch can turn a clear second and pick it up coming home £40 win
Feel The Heat (R11 T4) He is a dog I tipped up last week but he failed to make the corner in front which is very rare for him. Tonight as long as he can hold the five to the bend (who can on occasion take a flyer), he looks set for a trap to line success £50 win £10 double
