It’s Monday morning – Patrick Janssens finished £40 in profit on the Sunday Tipsters Challenge – tick. Tony The Syrup lost -£100 – tick. Boom McNair lost . . .no wait a sec. Boom McNair won!!! (He still had hair the last time anybody wrote that sentence). Yes, believe it or not, £50 on an 11-4 chance for an £87.50 profit.
NOTTINGHAM
Still no Peter Harnden. Tipping isn’t for him. He is looking for something where he gets less abuse – Morris Dancing!

Drumcrow Linnet (R8 T1) Narrowly beaten in a photo finish by Mister Brentford last week but lost little in defeat and from an excellent make up on the inside can make every post a winning one for trainer Anna Thompson £80 win.
Haddington Mary (R4 T1) Terry Munslow’s bitch hasn’t been at her best in her last two outings and that is a concern , however she couldn’t have asked for a better make up this evening. Colin Wilton’s Colston Chaos will step right immediately at trap rise and I’m hopeful Mary can take full advantage £20 win

Colston Chaos (R4 T2) aking a bit of a chance with the Colin Wilton trained runner on a couple of fronts really. Was pulled off the card lame after his last appearance but that was only a few weeks ago on the 20th July so whatever the issue was , it couldn’t have been anything too serious. Is a bit of a dark dog really and there is definitely improvement in him. The draw in trap 2 is concerning as he did move off from there on his last appearance but with a break he can make the bend narrowly behind Burghead Franby and take command along the back straight £50 win.
Bower Luke (R11 T4) Ran a terrific race for Pat Rosney here last week and can smash out once again and complete the hat-trick £50 win.
d
Colin Mather
Bogger Luck (R10 T5) Completed an A2 / A1 double for Barry Denby in recent weeks and though beaten last time out in top grade he once again ran well. Is the sole local runner in this Derby trial stakes and can put that local knowledge to good use at what should be fair odds £50 win
Double Handed (R12 T2) Barry Denby has some nice dogs in the kennel at the minute and Double Handed is another. Was picked up late in A1 on Friday but that was by one of the strongest runners at the track in Locnamon Mike. Double Handed can ping out and make all £50 win
YARMOUTH
In terms of current form from last week – Lee is Bayern Munich, Brett is Seville, Dave is any team from Manchester.

My best bet is Adamant Casey (R8 T4), a young bitch which has been contesting early pace with Swift Acquit in recent races. Should lead on her own tonight and post a decent time. Should be a hound to follow in coming weeks as I can see her going up the grades £80 win.
My other bet is Colski Iris (R1 T6). Another bitch with a lot of early and ran a good sprint run recently. Should lead out wide and get far enough in front from the fast finishing inside pair £20 win

Three selections for me tonight, first one is Aylesford Lass (R3 T1) Probably at decent odds with the 2 and 3 likely to set the early pace i think this strong running bitch can secure a nice pitch on the rails and prove to strong off the last. £20 win
Bandit (R7 T5) this ex A1/open race bitch now finds herself down in A6. She should be far enough out of season and showed signs of a return to form last time out when a running on third. If she can avoid any trouble round the first 2 bends nothing will be finishing stronger £30 win
My best bet of the night is Adamant Casey (R8 T4). This bitch is the polar opposite of my other picks as she’s all about early pace as a recent 5.24 sectional proves. Will look to dominate from lid rise and with the chance of crowding in behind she should be gone beyond recall £50 win
Lee Calcutt
Barkdashian (R5 T3)I liked the make up of this race for Richard Clarke’s youngster. Back in T3 where he won first time up and should be able to get first run on the 2 digs drawn inside him. With a 28.37 on the card he shouldn’t be caught if leading early doors.
£50 win
Our Number Four (R7 T4)This young dog caught my eye last week with a good turn of pace to half way to be caught by a strong finishing type. In a race where I didn’t foresee much early pace around I can see him leading again and natural progression after his maiden outing should see him come on for the run last week. £50 win
