Sean Whites Broadway Murty was fastest in the Bet365 Northamptonshire Sprint semi finals with a 1565.  Mark Wallis saw Quarteira put in another solid performance with a 1566 winning effort in the third semi whilst Romeo Crusade took semi one in 1584 for David Mullins.

Nottingham Open Race Action
Local trainer Terry Munslow could see his consistent Swift Serena double her open race winning tally with victory here.  Well drawn against the fence she will have to be at her best to land a competitive race but she has an extremely likeable attitude and if getting around the opening turn unscathed is bound to be there abouts at the finish.

Starcash Best can land heat one of the ARC Sprint Trophy for trainer Neil Chapman.  A decent winner last week over course and distance this is a moderate affair and a reproduction of that effort should suffice.

Another extremely moderate affair and as such it will be very disappointing if Flyhigh Artist can’t follow up on last weeks win over the rarely used 255m course with that race being the first over the trip this year.  The time recorded by Artist in that win of 1521 calculated would just about break 18 seconds over this true sprint trip but given the nature of this race that should be enough to see Ian Walker’s bitch home in front.

One Day Tom should strip fitter for last week’s first competitive outing since mid November and can looks the pick for trainer Jason Gray.  Freedom Odin won very well indeed in a decent clock at Yarmouth for Kevin Cobbold on his last start and looks the main danger.

Sally on track for Jacket
