A great week for Team Roxholme continued on Monday night when locally based trainer Hayley Keightley sent out a litter brother double at DONCASTER.
Three days after Roxholme Nidge had broken the Romford clock, and two after Hiya Butt had secured his East Anglian Derby Final place, the Newark based handler was represented by ‘Roxholme’s’ Ray and Leonard (Tyrur Sugar Rat-Lughill Sandra, Oct 15) in separate 483m opens.
Ray was the first to appear, and although only contesting the second race of his career, the white and brindle gave a start and beating to the highly rated Kalamoun in 29.19.
