The Staines based handler, who recently revealed how streamlining his training operation had led to a dramatic upturn in fortunes, sent out winners 16-19 with a 43-1 accumulator from eight runners (with 2 x 2nds, a 3rd, and a 4th).
The star of the quartet was Droopys Polly (Romeo Recruit-Exiles Pride, Aug 14) with a FON 29.83 (-20) run to land the night’s £500 bitch’s final. She now has 12 wins from 15 races over course and distance.
Polly was ably backed up by Away Shelly who picked up her sixth win (3 x 2nds) from her last nine outings in 30.24 over the same course.
3-1 chance Hoo Har (16.26 -10) turned over kennelmate Lets Be Ready (4-5f) in the sprint with Toast Of London completing the night in another 515m event (30.25 -10).
