Course specialist Kilara Hey Mac landed the Frightful Flash Kennels McCalmont Cup over 525 yards at Kilkenny on Friday.
Paul Hennessy’s runner something of a standing dish at the track flew out of trap three and went on to make all the running and beat Karlow Master by three lengths in 29.09sec.
The son of Ullid Connor has now won 16 of his 21 races at the track and will make a quick reappearance in the Irish Independent Laurels at Cork on Saturday.
