A weekend double saw super brood Droopys Loner (Timor Blue-Droopys Lotto) move onto 16 open race wins for the year.

Five different offspring from four different litters have contributed to the total in a career that has now reached 72 winners.

They include two litters by Droopys Cain with Droopys Giorgio (11) the most prolific winner.

Overall the spread of wins came from 400-685m with the first litter, which  included ‘Droopys’ Bonucci and Martial, the more productive of the two (31/11). Their average winning distance was 512m.

Five members of the Droopys Nidge litter have been successful in open class from 400-714m with Droopys Edge the most prolific. The litter’s average winning distance was 528m

So far, only Droopys Cannon, from the Sept ’17 litter by Droopys Roddick has contested open race company (380m/400m) though it looks a fair bet that others will follow, and it will be surprising if they lack stamina.
