Pocket Lola upped her career strike rate to 60% when winning for the 15th time in 25 outings in the second round of the Seventy Fifth Two Year Old Produce Stakes at Swindon.
The Seamus Cahill bred and trained black landed the ‘hot heat 3’ that included fast first round winners Bernard and Fabulous Azurra. Lola was joined in the semi finals by litter brother Surprising though another three members of the Droopys Sydney/Banabane litter were eliminated.
The Hove domination continued with wins for Jamie Kingsley’s A1 regulars Baran Jupiter (Eden The Kid-Baran Barracuda, Jan 19) and Richard Rees’ Khufu (Black Zac-Ace Queen, Aug 19)
There was also a fine double for Kim Gooding’s lightly raced litter brothers Shockwave Onyx and Shockwave Zircon. The December ’19 pups are by Droopys Sydney out of Southoe Silver.
The videos for all heats are available on the Star’s Youtube Channel – https://www.youtube.com/c/GreyhoundStar1983/videos – but iPhone users will not be able to access them through this Greyhound Star App. We are currently awaiting clearance from Apple to publish the updated App.
