I am pleased to report that popular owner (and good mate) Len Ponder is back at home after undergoing a major operation.
In a conversation this morning he said: “There have been various different problems going back a long time. It was a complicated procedure and I have lost three stone in weight but thankfully, the surgeon is convinced it has all gone to plan. I have had dogs running in Ireland and at Wimbledon but I haven’t even had the inclination to think about dog racing.
“But I am feeling much better now and thank all those people who have been in touch. I doubt I will get to Wimbledon unless by chance we get one to the final.”
