A number of St.Leger muscles were flexed at Wimbledon on Friday with Romany Rouge leading the way with a 41.59 trial win for the 687 metres. Droopys Cottage and Racenight Jenny were beaten three lengths and another five and a half lengths.
Another British bred, Swansalona Diva landed her work out in 42.19 while Ferryforth Fran stopped the clock at 42.21.
Several of the likely runners trialled over four bends. They included Fizzypop Buddy (28.59), Diego Flight (28.68), Roxholme Magic (28.74) and defending champ Roxholme Dream (28.81).
