54 greyhounds are scheduled to trial at Sheffield on Sunday under the promotion of Combined Irish Sales.
Spokesman Brian Harrison said: “We have some top class breeders sending dogs including six from the ‘Droopys’ kennel.
“I think one of them in particular will create a lot of interest. His name is Droopys Leaves and the Dunphy brother think a lot of him. In fact, they have put a significant reserve on him.
“Seamus McCluskey is sending a nice young bitch called Mineola Tiptop and there is a 28.85 Galway winner called Sporting Captain.
“In fact, his owner insists that the young pup he will be bringing with him, called Sporting Silky, is even quicker.
“It isn’t easy getting high class dogs these days, but I am really pleased with the quality in the catalogue.”
