Nick Savva has produced more puppy champions at Henlow than most people have seen puppy champions – and he might just have another star on his hands in Westmead Turbo.

Contesting only the second race of his career, the February pup clocked an astonishing 27.56 for the 460 metres. The fastest time of the night was Jet Stream Pearl’s 27.44 in the quickest of the night’s four standard opens, while Turbo’s kennelmate Westmead Rossi – who has the second, third and fourth fastest times of the year on his card, went around in 27.48.

Turbo was bred by Pat Rosney and Julie McCombe and is by Westmead Hawk out of Little Flame, thus making him a younger full brother to Take The Crown.
