Wimbledon stages the last batch of trial stakes for the William Hill Springbok, with the first round proper seven days later.

Lenson Royale, who heads the standings with 29.27sec, is the sole wide seed and will take some beating in the top division.

He is up against Reculver Ozzie, who is currently second in the list and also fast flat dog Jaytee Seville.

However Lenson Royale is a class act and can justify what will be very short odds.

Jolly Master can make it a striped jacket double in the third division.

George Andreas’ runner clocked 29.73sec in a recent solo trial and went well in a sprint spin over the sticks last Wednesday.

Seamus Cahill’s Du Cane Road is the only railer in the line-up and this top grade Hove performer looks a massive threat.

Razldazl Godsend is fancied to take the second division. Tony Taylor’s runner, who came home alone last week, is improving by the week and has a cracking draw on the fence.

Seamus Cahill’s Sallins Major is faster on the clock and a real threat.
