The late appeal for open race runners for Wimbledon for Saturday proved unfruitful with just two runners being entered for the opens, one being the locally trained Aimnfire plus another entry in the maiden open.
The track did manage to extend the graded card to seven races though they do include six empty traps. Trainer Brian Nicholls sends out 17 of the 36 runners.
