Eightythreelarch (Blonde Snapper-Grayslands Swan, Jan14)came with a grandstand finish to land the final of the Larry O’Rourke Munster Juvenile Cup over 525 yards at Clonmel on Sunday.
The pace was set by Dolores Ruth’s Razldazl Rince, who was four lengths clear of Newlawn Luke at halfway.
However Jaqueline McCann’s Eightythreelarch came flying through on the run-in to deny Newlawn Luke by a neck with Razldazl Rince half a length back in third. The time was 29.01sec.
Droopys Etoile, who has been sold and renamed Brinkleys Katie, landed the final of the Roseanne McIlhome Memorial over 525 yards at Clonmel on Sunday.
Pat Buckley’s runner flew out and made just about all to hold off the persistent challenge of Ballymac Scala by a neck in 28.77sec.
