Swindon features heavily once again among the landmark races with five of the 23 runners passing important career landmarks.

Nottingham regular Haddington Mary and Crayford’s Tullovin Charlie both reached the century and a half mark.

In terms of age, the oldest greyhound to have raced this year, Swift Rusty trialed back at Central Park this week following a lay-off. Whether the seven year old will race again is still not clear.

If he doesn’t then Pam Cross’ Yarmouth grader Lu Lu My Baby is the new golden oldie.

The daughter of Kinloch Brae celebrated her sixth birthday last September and although she is currently not on the friendliest terms with the grader having started at 20-1 and 14-1 in her last two outings, she has won five of her last twelve races.
