In a move which will shock the greyhound trading world Ladbrokes head of greyhound trading James Pryce is set for a move to up and coming AK Bets. The firm headed by Anthony Kaminskas have been making waves in the Irish on course markets in recent times and have now set up the online side of their business.
Kaminskas said “Delighted to have James on board.
Greyhound racing is a big passion of mine given my background running the greyhound product for Paddy Power and Betfair between 2013-2018 during which time I purchased Cashen Maureen.
The sport is an often neglected by the big bookies and that’s not the way it should be.
One man who didn’t ever neglect the sport from a bookmaking point of view was James Pryce. He’s been the standout compiler in the industry for a number of years now and I’ve observed him assisting customers on Twitter outside of working hours in a polite and friendly manner.
His knowledge, coupled with his willingness to go the extra mile for customers, meant he was the man I wanted to run our greyhound operation.
We’ve big plans”.
