Kinsley’s Owners Association are to hold a fundraising meeting on April 25 to raise money for a new van for the local RGT.
All the local trainers donated £10 each to get the fund started. The plan is to have all races sponsored at £50 each, plus a raffle.
Chairman Mark Siddall said: “The committee and track management put the idea together because we knew that Kath, who does such a great job on rehoming walks and summer fates needed a bit more help.
“We are hoping that the meeting can raise £1,500 with the rest coming from the owners welfare fund.”
