Paul Foster’s 6-4 chance Swift Europe (Makeshift-Swift Fanta, Nov 12) made it 11 wins (3 x 2nds, 2 x 3rds) from his last 16 races over course and distance with a length and a half victory in 30.29 (-20).
He was followed up by Pete Swadden’s 4-7f Jet Stream Bound (Razldazl George-Southest Lazey) with a 42.23 (-30) win over the 685m trip. It was a seventh win (2 x 2nds) in her last nine over course and distance.
