Former Midlands based greyhound journalist Jimmy Jukes died this week following a long illness.
He is particularly fondly remembered by the former much traveled racing manager Tony Smith who said: “Jimmy once went through the entire 8 race card at Kings Heath back in the 60’s. I remember how excited I was to meet him when I worked at Monmore/Willenhall in the early 70’s. My first ‘hero’ reporter.”
