With kennelmate and certain favorite Turnhouse Jet withdrawn due to sickness, the 2018 Hurdler of the Year Lenson Wilson took full advantage to land the Kent County Hurdle Final at Central Park.
Ricky Holloway’s black (3-1) went into the race with a single win in his last ten outings, but held off Droopys Trawler (4-5f) by half a length in 29.74 (-20) to capture the £1,000 first prize.
