The Time Greyhound Nutrition Juvenile Derby Final was the highlight of the week in Ireland and was won by the Robert Gleeson trained Droopys Flytline. Impressive throughout, he has eight wins and a second on his card and duly broke the 28.00 barrier in the final.
Jacktavern Bolt continued his winning run in the Irish Laurels though he was marginally ‘outtimed’ (8 spots) by kennelmate Glory Baz whose 28.21 was the quickest of the third round.
Two Slip Jigs landed the Kasco Novice final at Thurles in 28.99 though there was arguably an even better performance from February pup Clonmore Boy who was just two spots off the fastest sprint of the year.
At Lifford, Gizmo Cash continued to chip away at his own sprint clock with a 17.09 run.
