There won’t be too many occasions – ever – then a 29.47 run for 525 yards gets the ‘performance of the week’ at Shelbourne. But a combination of a sodden circuit and the cancelled Saturday fixture gives Attykitt Shane that distinction.
But look elsewhere and there are plenty of decent runs, often on slow tracks, or by youngsters, well worthy of mention.
Although Harolds Cross don’t stage many 550s, the 30.23 run of Philiblue on Friday should not go under the radar. Look out too for the 28.95, just one spot slower than the fastest 525 at Drumbo last week, from the novice Brae Hill.
