ODDS 27 PAC

Graham Holland had a particularly good week headed by the 28.11 run of the Dave Firmager bred Romeo Magico at Shelbourne on Saturday night. Ideal preparation fro the forthcoming Bresbet Easter Cup. A fine run too from Con Guiney’s Jacob Tashadelek whose 550 run completes a high class five-timer.

There was a short head between Swords Rex and Droopys Nice One in the final of the €6,200 Rural Kennels sponsored stake at Clonmel on Sunday. It was a fourth win in five races for the Graham Holland trained pup, with Nice One confirming her 28.30 semi final form. There was also the fastest 750 run in more than a decade (though the distance went unused for some of that period) for Redzer Runart who clocked 41.57 (TR 41.10).

The most sensational run of the week though possibly belonged to Singalong Sally. Her 28.35 run at Thurles was on going rated -30. To put the run into perspective, the next fastest time on the night was 29.08. The 16 year old track record is Digital’s 28.11.
