The busiest week of the year to date headed by the semi finals of the Ladbrokes Easter Cup at Shelbourne Park where there were only three spots between Billys Diva and Knocknaboul Syd.
A mention too for Brodys Magic whose 18.54 sprint was only two spots off the fastest two bend run in 2020.
Zoom was marginally the quickest in the Juvenile Classic semis at Tralee while Skywalker Cilla made it four wins from six outings to take the Champion Bitch Stake at Thurles.
Elsewhere, Clona Bolt produced the fastest run over the standard at Cork so far this year, while August pup Billis Tudor produced the fastest 400 run at Dundalk in the last seven months. The well named puppy Explosive Boy produced a flying 28.35 at Limerick. Only Priceless Jet (28.31) went quicker last year. And it has been almost a year since anything went faster at Newbridge than youngster Droopys Joyful.
Also, racing returned to Enniscorthy where Kingsisland Kid produced a decent 28.79 performance.
