The Ballymac bandwagon continues with Ballymac Art going quickest in the first round of the Gold Cup at Shelbourne Park.
Not so many tracks missing this week, no Enniscorthy though. With going all over the place, track to track, it is worth checking out some comparative times. A good example is Ballydoyle Blake at Dundalk with a 28.60 run. Next quickest 525 on the night was 29.11. Galway staged seven 575 yard races, the quickest being Tigerintempo, out of that great brood, Scissors.
Look out too for Bling Bling Paul, one of the younger winners at Limerick, but the fastest 525 of the week. Similar credentials for Ballycowen Lexi at Youghal.
