The Corn Cuchulainn win for Ballymac Kingdom at Shelbourne Park and the new 525 yard track record for Swanley Chick at Dundalk three spots inside the previous best. (Grangview Ten’s 20.88 for the 400 wasn’t too shoddy either). Nor was Doolin Princess’s 575 yard win at Limerick – the best clocking in seven years.
And wouldn’t you have wanted a win double on Amazing Alice and Awesome Alfie (FOY Waterford)?
