Tonight, Clonmel stage the semi finals of the Munster Juvenile with eight of the twelve runners being sired by Droopys Sydney. Quickest of the dozen last weekend was Annual Coco, though Shane O’Gorman’s 74lb bitch has a slight advantage in being one of the older runners in the event.

There was a fastest 525 yard run of the year at Dundalk this week, as set by Graham Kelly’s Beretta Melba while Droopys Mandolin did something similar in the opening round of the Galway Oaks.
