There were a series of ‘2016 fastests’ this week including a double at Shelbourne for Tyrur Bigmike (350) and Slippery Snowy (600).
Also: Surprising Sea clocked the fastest sprint at Newbridge, Puppy Bull Run Bolt reduced his Kilkenny-fastest-525 to 28.93 while another youngster Slippy Ronan was quickest over Tralee’s 550yds. Daring Rush and Ashfield King produced the year’s two fastest 525s at Waterford.
Station Panther, who produced the 550 performance of the week at Enniscorthy last week, produced a second quality performance over the shorter trip.
The quirkiest results of the week were at Youghal last Monday where the last six races were won by: Whitty Orjay, Witches Sofia, Witches Coll, Whitty Tyson, Witches Buzz, and Whittymadmohally.
