The notable run fo the week was clearly Curious Boy’s new track record at Clonmel. But elsewhere, time followers need to be on their guard. Some tracks were badly weather affected, others were producing their fair share of fast times.
There were fastest times of the year over sprint and standard distances at Thurles where Aglish Rebel gets the nod. At Waterford, youngster Coolavanny Zebo produced the week’s most notable performance.
Lifford don’t run many marathons so times are almost irrelevant, but Bua Brendan successfully stepped up in trip to win over the 820 yard course by a mere nineteen and a half lengths.
