Graham Holland could be the man to follow in tonight’s first session of second round heats in the Boylesports Irish Derby over 550 yards, as he’s got realistic chances of completing a five-timer.

Sidarian Vega and winner Ballydoyle Honey looks his two bankers on the night.

Champion Stakes winner Sidarian Vega, who led from trap to line last week in 29.83sec last week, has drawn a weak heat and can soon be in the driving seat.

The Westmead Hawk dog can see off the main threat of Paul Hennessy’s Mucho Macho Man.

Sporting Press Oaks Ballydoyle Honey, who was beaten last week, can bounce back in heat eight.

It’s a tough race with kennelmate and Race of Champions winner Rural Hawaii, who scored in 29.65sec and Gyp Rosetti, a 29.63sec winner, but she left plenty on the track in defeat and has a 100% record from trap one.

Holland’s Calzaghe Clampet, who beat Ballydoyle Honey last week, can get the ball rolling in heat two.

He can prove too strong for Produce Stakes winner Ballybough Mondo. Farloe Rumble, a 29.51sec trialist over C&D is another to consider.

Holland can land heat four with Ardrahan Zindi.

The daughter of Head Bound bitch is a 28.30sec winner over the shorter trip and can exploit a great draw in trap one to see off main danger and Golden Muzzle winner Ivy Hill Bart.

Holland could also score in heat five with Riverside Pat, who won last week in 29.49sec. He has a tricky draw in five but performed well from the four box last week.

Champion Unraced winner Shutthe Backdoor, Peregrine Falcon, who completed a four-timer last week in 29.80sec and the highly regarded Secreto are the big threats.

The shortest priced runner on the card will be Farloe Blitz, who goes in the very first heat.

Owen McKenna’s English Derby beaten favourite, impressed last week when scoring in 29.60sec and should be out and gone for a comfortable victory.

The main threat should come from Paul Hennessy’s classy bitch Priceless Lassie, who has a 28.20sec on her card over the shorter 525 yard trip.

Brendan Matthews’ Leave at Dawn, a 29.75sec winner last week, can take the sixth qualifier. Fair Taxes, who won in 29.84sec is the main danger but the railer has a tricky draw in six to overcome.

Scottish Derby finalist Save The Don can take the third qualifier.

Fraser Black’s runner ran well when chasing home fast winner Laughil Duke and can soon be in command. His main threat should come from kennelmate and Harolds Cross Gold Collar winner Blonde Nipper.
