Following last night’s report (below), it has now been confirmed that following a veterinary inspection, Ballymac Inspeed’s racing career is now over.
There are concerns over the possible participation of Ballymac Inspeed in the 2020 Starsports Greyhound Derby following his trial at Nottingham tonight.
Tom Heilbron’s recent intake clocked an impressive 29.64 over the Derby course but appeared to go lame after the winning line. We understand that the former Irish star (16-1) is due to receive a veterinary check over tomorrow.
