Danny Riordan’s blue went to traps as a 6-1 chance but passed Sporting Robin at the third bend before clocking an impressive 32.90, just three spots outside Jet Stream Sound’s track record.
The meeting also featured a ‘fastest of year’ for the 460m as Savana Donie clocked 27.28. There was a tenth open race success of the year for Clondoty Alex (27.48) and san impressive run from puppy Westmead Freddie (Coolavanny Bert-Westmead Sula, Jul 15) who clocked 27.58 in an A6 race.
