Towcester staged one of the most bizarre hurdle races seen in quite a while on Saturday. The 480mH open featured the fastest hurdler in training Razldazl Raidio who went from trap five at 1-7f. He fell but ran on to finish fifth. The event went to Copper Zebo, a dog who had never previously won a race – flat or hurdle and had been marked awkward in a graded race at Pelaw. Just to add a bit of further interest, the black jacketed Chantilly Rose jumped the obstacles as if they were on fire. Enjoy!
