It is finally here, Hove Greyhound stadium this Saturday holds host to the prolific Brighton Belle, £10,000 to winning connections. Along with the final week of Seasons Scaffolding Puppy Cup Trial Stakes, with the Cat 2 contest to follow a week later as both finals land on the 29th April.
So if you can get yourself down to the coastal track and enjoy an action packed 13 open card then were sure you’ll have a fantastic night, but for those that may watch on the telly, here could be a good probability to find a few good selections for your entertainment.
This week these are provided by yours truly, accompanied by FOUR keen kennelhands looking to make a mark on the tipping forefront this weekend.
The first in line, is Ian Andrews, kennelhand representative for Carl Gardner, first to get his selections through, the NAP that could save the night for him will be in Race 8, Trap 1, My Girl Mia. With a certain selection Ian had this to say regarding his big play for the evening: “She has a great draw in one with an inconsistent starter next door should give her a clear run. The runner in three hasn’t seen Hove so could cause some issues at the bend and by that time I think she will be gone.”
Next to follow is the champion trainer’s second in command, son Daniel Wallis. Their team make their way to Hove and hoping for a successful return. Dan had one specific dog in mind for the special pick, one with a slightly tricky draw some may suggest.
Keeping it short and sweet Daniels NAP is: “Gougane Jet, I think Hove will really suit him with that long run to the bend.”
Ashlee Williams represents the Cahill Kennel. A strong pick by Ashlee as Seamus’ own runner is napped by the young tipster. Molly Maid will be taking on Daniel Wallis’ NAP when 20:54 rolls round.
Ashlee said: “I have chosen Molly Maid as my NAP for a few reasons. She has a perfect draw, and 9 times out of 10 she will lead going into the first, which she loves to do I think she’s got a good chance of claiming a win for Seamus.”
Finally, Nathan Hunt has sent out his best tipster, (no, not Ray!). Maisie Bourne takes spotlight for the first time as she sends out newest arrival Antigua Sugar, a favourite of Romford but will she be favourite here when Saturday dawns?
Well there was this to add to Maisie’s choice. “She’s new to the kennel and is settling in nicely, all being well six will lead, and she will follow it round and pick it up.”
Well that concludes the kennelhand tipping challenge, we will catch up with our tipsters in due course as Hove’s card unfolds some glorious battles out on the sand, but one thing seems certain to our tipsters, ‘Hopes Rhino’ is heavily supported. Good Luck All
