At today’s GBGB board meeting a resolution was carried unanimously removing Mr Ricky Holloway as a director. The resolution was passed because Mr Holloway has failed to comply with the requirement s of Article 42.3.2 of the GBGB’s Articles of Association and also with the guidance on contact with the press that he signed upon his appointment.
It became clear during Mr Holloway’s short period as a Director of GBGB that, in spite of his stated willingness to adhere to the principles of collective responsibility and to comply with the requirements of GBGB’s Articles of Association and media policy, Mr Holloway was not prepared to conduct himself in a manner required of a Director of a company and, in particular, a governing body.
