Swift Hoffman remains on course for his third major event after landing the fastest first round win of the Ladbrokes Gold Cup at Monmore.
Pat Rosney’s brindle clocked 28.19 (-20) after “MsdBrk,Crd1,W,RanOn” with Ibiza Rocks the three length second. Hoffman has another six draw in the semi finals.
Bpg Brae and Blackstone Marco won their heats in an identical 28.23.
