Astra Prince could take the edge off the night for sponsors William Hill if he wins the All England Cup at Newcastle tomorrow (Thursday).
The Hills PR said: “The spread on the big race has been pretty good to be honest, but Astra Prince is the one who would hurt us. We laid him at 25-1 at the start of the competition and he is now a 5-1 chance.
“In the Puppy Derby, most of the interest is with the top two in the betting, Camp Joker and Droopys Buick, so any of the other four would suit us.
“There has been some money for Barnish Panther in the Great North Run and he is 7-1 from 10-1. In the Angel of the North, there has been some money for Pinpoint Dazl. They are certainly a kennel who know what they are doing and she has been cut from 11-2 to 7-1.”
