Andy Heyes’ racers put his kennel in a strong position in Belle Vue’s A1 Owner’s Bonus competition on Friday as he landed two of the three heats.
Ballymac Chas made it four out of four in February when he took the last qualifier in 28.14 for the 470 metres, while kennelmate Carmac Collision got the challenge off to a good start in heat one with a 28.18 success.
However, the pair were shaded on the clock by Paul Gregson’s Altcar Stanley, who posted a 28.09 as he made all in heat two.
