Henlow received 38 entries (36 required) for the Gain Nutrition English Puppy Derby which gets underway on Sunday.
A number of trainers may feel a bit hard done by following the draw. Both of Pat Rosney’s runners are drawn in the same heat. Kevin Hutton has three in heat three taking on two of Patrick Janssens.
The seeding worked out well with three railers, two middles and a sole wide in each of the six qualifiers.
The semi finals and £7,500 final take place on the following two Sundays.
