Racing manager Paul Mellor believes next Sunday’s RPGTV Henlow Derby Final is the most competitive for many years.
Seven spots separated the three semi final winners: Fireheight Tosh (27.39), Loughteen Eoin (27.44) and Forest Sara 27.46, though all six qualifiers have recent form good enough to take the £10,000 decider: Express Master (27.47 twice), Making Paper (27.16), Charity Buster (27.40).

Mellor said: “I think the draw has worked out pretty well for a good final. Express Master moved across to rail from trap five and now has red. Two, three and four look well suited to their boxes. Although Charity Buster is seeded middle, all his wins have come from traps four and five and Forest Sara is the only wide seed.
“If you gave them all solos, Making Paper is probably the fastest dog in it on all known form, but he needs to rediscover his trapping boots. All things considered, it is a very decent final.”
