Henlow expect to fill at least nine opens on Sunday with races still three hours from closing. The track have undoubtedly benefited from Towcester’s switch to Saturday as an on-going policy – with assistant racing manager Andy Lismore confirming that the Northampton racecourse have only filled three events this week, plus the final of a stayer’s competition.
Henlow’s Lorraine King said: “Our entries have been much better this week. So far we are up to eight and it could be a full open race card by the time the races close at 2pm”
