It is 18 years since the name ‘Mullins’ last appeared next to the name of a Scurry winner.

Troy Bella trained by David Mullins, joined El Boss trained by his mum Linda, on the Belle Vue roll of honour on Saturday much to the delight of owner Mick Gollogly.

He said: “An unbelievable night at Belle Vue when Troy Bella pinged the lids. It’s been a long time coming to win a Classic , and I would just like to say thank you to the Sponsors BAPP for a great night, special people from a wonderful city.
