Rising Brandy completed his first handslip following a five month lay-off at Hove today.
The Midland Puppy Derby winner has not raced since damaging shoulder ligaments in the semi finals of the English Derby.
Trainer Matt Dartnall said: “The vet said it would be a five month job and thankfully the owners have been very patient. He has been flying up the gallop at home and walked off sound after the handslip. We are delighted.”
