Happy Endings remains unbeaten in the Lee Stand 550 Stake at Tralee after winning his semi-final on Friday.
Pat Leahy’s runner just made the opening turn in front and leaving trouble in his wake, went on to beat an unlucky Droopys Hip Hop by five and a half lengths in 30.18sec.
Musical Dawn made it three wins from four races in the competition when taking the second semi-final.
Larry Enright’s runner led early but has to give way to Knockbrogan King, who went clear down the far side but he couldn’t hold the renewed challenge of the Shaneboy Lee bitch who went on to score by a length in 30.03sec.
